Merano instruments all feature hand carved solid maple and spruce construction. Maximum tone production and a pleasing tone quality are achieved with properly had graduated inner and outer contours of the top and back, had fitted bass bars and sound posts, and clean interior workmanship. Each instrument is carefully crafted to be visually as well as aurally pleasing.

Outfits include carved solid wood instrument, a wood bow with genuine natural unbleached white horsehair, and a sturdy lined case with inside storage and an outside music compartment.

All Merano outfits are carefully inspected for adherence to quality standards prior to shipment from the West Coast warehouse. The Merano name is a relatively new one here in the USA. But the factory that makes these instruments has been around for over 30 years.
