tt Woods, Often known as a "guitar for hire", is both a native of Des Moines and a seasoned performer of many local, regional and national clubs and venues. Matt has developed a distinct style while still staying loyal to his blues roots. Versed in traditional delta, hill country and urban electric blues, his biggest influences include the likes of: Son House, Fred McDowell, Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf and R.L. Burnside, among others. Now how can you go wrong with that!
rummer Michael Swanger has been involved in the Des Moines' Blues scene for years. Michael has played with the Soul Searchers and T-Bone Blues Revue, and has also performed as the house drummer for the Iowa Blues Hall of Fame induction ceremony. Also featured on Matt's CD!
ayed with local groups such as Chicago Rick’s Blues Band, The Nightcrawlers and Tough Enough! featuring Iowa Blues Hall Of Fame vocalist Big Mike Edwards. Scott plays the electric and upright bass on "If I Were a Fish", and is in the process of cutting a CD with longtime friend, John Tancredi. Most of the work will be John's originals.
